Greetings and Good Wishes

Air Force School 9 BRD welcomes you.

We would like to inform you that seats are still available in XI Commerce & Humanities streams at Air Force School 9BRD ,Chandan Nagar .  Kindly go through the admission guidelines. Names of students selected for admission will be displayed on website.

Admissions Guidelines for Class XI
1. Admissions open in Commerce &Humanities stream only .
2. Interested students may download the application form available on school website.
3. Fill the form in hard copy and attach necessary documents .
4.Submit the form at Air Force School Chandan Nagar gate
Last date of submission -16 August 2021
5. A respresentative from school will be available at Chandan Nagar gate for the collection of forms from 12 August -16 August 2021.Form will be collected between 10am -12 noon only .
6. Admission will be strictly on the basis of priority list given on the school website . Parents may refer to general admission guidelines for more details .

GENERAL ADMISSION GUIDELINES

1. Registration for admission to Class LKG to Class IX for the academic session 2021-22 will be opened from 04 Jan 21 to 30 Jan 21.

2, Online registration form will be available on school’s website from 04 Jan 2021  www.afscn.in.

  1. Registration fee Rs. 100/- is to be paid in cash at school office at the time of submission of admission form once the admission is confirmed (Only for Civilian).

  1. Required Documents-. Parents are requested to be ready with the following documents.  All the documents need to be self-attested. List of documents to be attached with the online form are as follows:

(a)        Age Proof:  Any of the following documents are to be accepted in original as proof of age:-

(i)         Birth certificate issued by Military/Civil Hospitals as well as by Municipalities/ Village Panchayats.

(ii)        In case of Defence personnel, POR extract duly signed by Unit Adjutant is also required.

            (b)        Attested Photo Copy of Pay/Salary Statement

            (c)        Service Certificate for Defence Serving Personnel/ Pure Civilian

            (d)        Photo copy of PPO (Pension Pay Order) / Discharge book of Ex-Servicemen/Grand Parent

            (e)        Xerox copy of report card of the last class attended for UKG to IX.

             (f)          Xerox copy of Aadhar card of the applicant.

 

  1. AGE CRITERIA: The minimum /maximum age limit of the child as on 01 Apr of the academic year in which admission is sought is as mentioned below;


          (a)           Admission to LKG         :           03 years /05

(b)           Admission to UKG         :           04 years /06

          (c)           Admission to I               :           05 years/07

Minimum /maximum age at the time of admission to other classes will accordingly be calculated as per the above stipulation. Child born on 01 April would be deemed as having attained the requisite age. No age waiver will be granted.  *The maximum age limit can be relaxed by two years in case of Differently abled children.

  1. ADMISSION PRIORITY:

Admission is strictly on the basis of priorities as listed in education code 2020.Under no circumstances a child with low priority is given preference over a child with higher priority in the priority order list. The admission priorities are as follows:

(a) Priority – I. Children of serving and deceased (whilst on active service) IAF Officers, Airmen and NCs(E)

(b) Priority – II.

(i)            Children of serving Air Force School staff [whose spouse is not a serving Air Force Officer,

Airman or NC (E).

(ii)           Children of serving Armed Forces personnel posted to MES at that AF Station.

(iii)           Children of serving DSC personnel posted to Air Force units.

(iv)           Children of serving civilian staff of Air Force units paid out of Defence Services Estimates.

(v)           Children of serving NPF employees.

(vi)           Children of serving civilian MES personnel.

(c) Priority – III.

(i)            Children of Air Force Officers, Airmen and NCs(E) who have superannuated from service and children of serving Army personnel.

(ii)           Children of Air Force Officers, Airmen and NCs(E) who have left service on Premature Separation from Service (PSS) or on completion of period of Regular Engagement (RE), before the age of superannuation.

(d) Priority – IV.

(i)            Biological/legal grand-children of serving and retired (both superannuated as well as those who have gone out on PSS/completion of RE) Air Force Officers, Airmen and NCs (E).

(iii)           Children of serving Navy, Military Forces personnel, GREF and TA.

(e) Priority – V. All other children, including children of foreign nationals/NRIs.

  1. It is informed that present UKG parents of AF School, 9 BRD, Chandan Nagar should not deem admission to  Class-I as Confirmed.  Fresh admission for Class-I will be done again on priority basis.  Same procedure of admission will be followed for them also as for the other classes.
  2. PLEASE NOTE THAT MERELY REGISTERING THE CHILD’S NAME DOES NOT GUARANTEE CONFIRMED ADMISSION.
